Anthony T. DiPietro limits his practice to primarily litigating medical malpractice cases on behalf of patients who have been injured by medical negligence. While he was in school at New York Law School, Mr. DiPietro worked at the City of New York’s Special Litigation and Medical Malpractice Unit (SLAMM). As the name suggests, that Unit was responsible for handling all high exposure, high publicity cases involving the City. Upon graduating from New York Law School, magna cum laude, Mr. DiPietro made a strategic decision to begin working as a medical malpractice defense attorney to get an understanding of how these cases were litigated from the defendants’ perspective.

“As a litigator, I believe you are born to be either a plaintiff’s attorney or a defense attorney. I knew all along that I was going to dedicate my career to helping people, not insurance companies. However, working for the defense afforded me an opportunity to learn what went on in their camps. While I was there, I gained a lot of insight about how defendants and their lawyers formulate their trial strategy - which is sometimes not based on the facts - and how I could best expose the truth about what really happens to victims of medical malpractice. Even when I was working on the other side, I was always a plaintiff’s attorney in my heart,” stated Anthony T. DiPietro, Esq.

Over the course of his career as a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. DiPietro has literally worked on hundreds of medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic, life changing injuries. He has represented people in a wide range of cases including those who have suffered permanent brain damage, paralysis, loss of senses, and death. At the same time, he has had the unique opportunity to work with several of the top plaintiff's advocates in the State of New York, and has obtained valuable insight into how to best help people deal with their injuries and get through these difficult situations.
